The GECU Foundation* is dedicated to the credit union’s people helping people philosophy through its collaborative engagement with community organizations to further assist charitable causes that improve the lives of those in the Borderplex region.
Since its establishment in 2007, the GECU Foundation has become the philanthropic arm that voices and supports the credit union’s mission and goals. The GECU Foundation exists to bring people together and help improve the lives of those around us. We aspire to maximize our philanthropic efforts and elevate our community through education, community programs, charitable giving, volunteerism, scholarships, and fundraising.
